Sybora – Terms of Service
Last updated: February 12, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Sybora. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Sybora website, accounts, subscriptions, creative tools, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account, using the Free version, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to the policies incorporated by reference, including our Privacy Policy.
If you do not understand or agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
Questions about these Terms may be sent to:
Email: support@sybora.app
Website: https://sybora.app
2. Service Provider
The Services are provided by:
Trading name: Sybora
Country: Hungary
Email: support@sybora.app
The expressions “Sybora,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the legal operator identified above.
3. Who May Use the Services
3.1 Minimum Age
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use the Services. If you are under the age at which you can enter into a binding contract in your country, you may use the Services only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
If you allow a minor to use the Services, you are responsible for the minor’s activity and compliance with these Terms to the extent permitted by law.
3.2 Accurate Information
You must provide accurate and current registration, contact, billing, and payment information. You may not impersonate another person or use an email address that you do not control.
3.3 Business Users
If you use the Services on behalf of a company, organisation, or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that entity. In that case, “you” includes both you and the entity.
4. Accounts and Passwordless Authentication
4.1 Account Registration
Registration requires your first name, last name, and email address. Sybora uses passwordless authentication. To sign in, you enter your email address and receive a short-lived, single-use eight-digit code from noreply@sybora.app.
4.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- maintaining control of the email account connected to Sybora;
- keeping sign-in codes confidential;
- not forwarding or sharing sign-in messages;
- ensuring that the information associated with your account remains accurate; and
- all activity conducted through your account, except where caused by a failure for which Sybora is legally responsible.
Contact support@sybora.app immediately if you receive a sign-in code you did not request or suspect unauthorised access.
4.3 Account Restrictions
You may not:
- sell, rent, share, transfer, or sublicense your account;
- create or control multiple accounts to obtain additional Free downloads, credits, or promotional benefits;
- use false, misleading, disposable, stolen, or unauthorised account information;
- evade a suspension, termination, usage limit, or enforcement measure; or
- allow another person to use your account as their own.
5. The Services
5.1 Platform Overview
Sybora is a web-based creative video platform. Depending on your plan and product availability, the Services may include:
- Video Ranking;
- Clip Compiler;
- AI Image Generator;
- AI Writing;
- AI Voiceover;
- Split Screen;
- Text Story;
- Zoom Clip;
- video import, editing, rendering, and MP4 export; and
- related project, credit, storage, and brand-management features.
5.2 Digital Delivery
The Services are supplied digitally. No physical product is shipped. Free functionality is made available after successful account registration. Paid functionality is normally activated after successful payment confirmation from Stripe.
5.3 Feature Availability
Features may differ by plan, device, location, language, or technical availability. Descriptions on the pricing page and at checkout form part of your order and identify the material features of the plan you purchase.
5.4 Changes to the Services
We may improve, update, replace, limit, or discontinue features for security, legal, operational, or product-development reasons. Where a change materially reduces a paid Service during an active billing period, we will provide notice and any remedy required by applicable law.
We do not guarantee that every feature, AI provider, voice, template, import source, or output format will remain available indefinitely.
6. Free Version
6.1 Free Access
Eligible users may register without providing payment-card details and use the following tools:
- Video Ranking;
- Clip Compiler;
- Split Screen;
- Text Story; and
- Zoom Clip.
The Free version includes a maximum of three completed video downloads in total per eligible user, not three downloads per month. Creating another account to obtain additional Free downloads is prohibited.
6.2 No Automatic Conversion
The Free version does not automatically convert into a paid subscription. We will not charge you unless you actively select a paid plan, provide or confirm a payment method through Stripe, and authorise the purchase.
6.3 Paid-Only Features
AI-powered features, including AI Image Generator, AI Writing, and AI Voiceover, require an active paid subscription or another expressly offered paid entitlement. The current pricing page identifies the features and usage limits included in each plan.
6.4 Free-Version Abuse
We may refuse, restrict, or withdraw Free access where we reasonably believe that a person is creating duplicate accounts, automating registrations, manipulating device or identity information, or otherwise attempting to circumvent the three-download allowance.
7. Paid Plans, Credits, and Usage Limits
7.1 Subscription Plans
Sybora currently offers monthly and annual subscriptions at the following base prices, subject to applicable taxes and any clearly disclosed price changes:
- Basic: USD 19 per month or USD 170 per year;
- Pro: USD 39 per month or USD 299 per year; and
- Business: USD 89 per month or USD 599 per year.
The plan name, price, billing interval, included credits, download or generation allowance, storage period, and available features are displayed before purchase.
7.2 Credits and Allowances
Some features consume credits or count toward another plan allowance. The interface may show the estimated or actual usage for an action. Unless the pricing page or checkout expressly states otherwise:
- credits and allowances have no cash value;
- they may not be transferred, resold, or exchanged for money;
- unused credits and video allowances included in a recurring monthly plan expire at the beginning of the next billing period and do not roll over;
- separately purchased extra-credit packs are one-time, non-recurring purchases and do not expire while the account remains active; and
- usage consumed by a completed or substantially processed request is not restored merely because you dislike the result.
Extra-credit balances remain available if you cancel a subscription and return to the Free version. They are also unaffected by upgrades or downgrades. They are deleted when the account is permanently deleted.
Credits or video allowances are deducted when a generation, render, or download attempt starts. They are not automatically restored if the attempt fails, including because of a technical error. If support verifies a Sybora error, an administrator can manually restore credits or apply another appropriate remedy. This rule does not limit any mandatory consumer right or remedy for a defective or non-conforming digital service.
7.3 Fair Use and Technical Limits
Plans may include reasonable technical restrictions, such as file-size, duration, concurrency, rate, storage, rendering, or export limits. You must not bypass or interfere with these controls.
7.4 Plan Changes
Upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately. For an upgrade, Stripe calculates and charges the prorated difference immediately. For a downgrade, the prorated difference is applied as a credit to the next invoice rather than refunded immediately to the payment card. Extra-credit balances remain unchanged during either type of plan change.
8. Billing and Payments
8.1 Prices and Currency
The price, billing interval, currency, and applicable taxes are shown on the pricing page or Stripe checkout before you place an order. Unless stated otherwise, recurring subscription fees are charged in advance.
Before payment, the application and Stripe checkout clearly display the plan price, renewal frequency, and cancellation terms. The purchase flow states that subscriptions renew automatically at the displayed price until cancelled, may be cancelled at any time without a long-term commitment, and that extra-credit packs are one-time, non-recurring purchases.
Your bank or payment provider may apply currency-conversion fees or use an exchange rate that we do not control.
8.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Stripe. Sybora does not store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes on its own servers. Payment processing is also subject to Stripe’s applicable terms and privacy notice.
8.3 Automatic Renewal
A monthly or annual paid subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it before the next renewal date. By subscribing, you authorise Sybora and Stripe to charge the selected payment method for each renewal, including applicable taxes.
The renewal price and billing interval are displayed before purchase and in the subscription interface. We will provide notice of material price changes where required by law.
8.4 Failed Payments
If a payment fails, Stripe or Sybora may retry the payment. We may restrict paid features while an amount remains unpaid. You are responsible for keeping your payment information valid and current.
8.5 Taxes and Invoices
Prices will be presented with taxes included or added as required by applicable law and your billing location. You must provide accurate billing and tax information. Electronic payment receipts or invoices are currently issued through Stripe; no separate invoicing provider is integrated.
9. Cancellation, Account Deletion, and Refunds
9.1 Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time using the “Cancel” control on the Subscription page. Email is available for support, refund, and statutory withdrawal requests but is not the standard subscription-cancellation channel. Unless mandatory law states otherwise, cancellation stops future renewals, takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and preserves paid access until that time.
9.2 Account Deletion
You may permanently delete your account using the “Delete account” button at the bottom of the Subscription page. Account deletion is immediate and irreversible in Sybora’s active systems. It:
- cancels any active subscription;
- ends your access to the Services immediately;
- deletes your projects, files, application records, and Sybora user account from active systems; and
- cannot be undone.
Deleting your account before the end of a paid billing period does not automatically create a right to a partial refund, except where required by law. Certain billing, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, security, or provider-backup records may remain as described in the Privacy Policy.
9.3 General Refund Rule
Except where required by applicable consumer law or expressly stated in a separate written offer, subscription charges are non-refundable after the relevant paid access has been supplied. We do not provide partial or pro-rata refunds for an unused portion of a billing period merely because you stopped using the Services or deleted your account.
This rule does not limit any mandatory right or remedy you may have for a defective, misdescribed, unavailable, or non-conforming digital service.
9.4 EEA and Other Statutory Withdrawal Rights
If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or another jurisdiction that grants a statutory withdrawal or cooling-off right, you may have the right to withdraw from an online subscription contract within 14 days without giving a reason, subject to applicable exceptions.
Where you request immediate access to paid digital Services during the withdrawal period, we may ask for your express request or consent and your acknowledgement of the consequences required by law. Depending on the law and the extent of performance, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for Services already supplied, or the right of withdrawal may end after full performance or delivery of qualifying digital content—but only where all legal conditions have been satisfied.
Before starting a paid subscription or purchasing an extra-credit pack, Sybora presents a separate checkbox requesting express confirmation that digital performance should begin immediately. That confirmation does not remove any right that cannot legally be waived. For a continuing digital service, merely beginning access does not necessarily eliminate the withdrawal right immediately; where applicable, the right may end only after full performance under the conditions required by law. Qualifying digital content may be subject to different rules once supply begins with the required express consent and acknowledgement.
Sybora records the user identifier, acceptance timestamp, exact consent-text version, purchase type or key, and related Stripe Checkout Session identifier so that the consent can be demonstrated.
To exercise a statutory withdrawal right, send a clear statement to support@sybora.app before the applicable deadline. Include the account email, purchase date, and subscription purchased. You may use the model form in Appendix A, but it is not mandatory.
9.5 Refund Processing
Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method where possible. Processing time depends on Stripe, your bank, and the payment method.
9.6 Payment Disputes
Please contact support@sybora.app before initiating a chargeback so we have an opportunity to investigate. This does not prevent you from exercising any right to contact your bank, payment provider, regulator, or consumer authority.
We may provide Stripe or another authorised dispute handler with relevant transaction records, subscription details, account activity, and proof of digital delivery to respond to a payment dispute.
10. Project Storage and Deletion
Unless you delete content sooner, Sybora automatically deletes projects and related User Content according to the applicable account status or plan:
- no active trial or paid subscription: 14 days;
- Basic: 30 days;
- Pro: 90 days; and
- Business: 180 days.
An automated cleanup process runs daily. You are responsible for downloading and backing up outputs you wish to retain. Once content is deleted from active systems, it cannot be restored through Sybora.
11. User Content
11.1 Definition
“User Content” includes any video, image, audio, script, prompt, caption, link, file, brand asset, project setting, or other material that you upload, import, submit, create, or store through the Services.
11.2 Your Ownership
As between you and Sybora, you retain your rights in User Content. Sybora does not claim ownership of your original uploads. Rights in AI-generated outputs may vary by jurisdiction, input, provider terms, and the level of human contribution; we do not guarantee that an output is eligible for copyright or other exclusive protection.
11.3 Licence to Operate the Services
You grant Sybora a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, transmit, format, convert, crop, combine, render, display to you, and otherwise technically process User Content only as reasonably necessary to:
- provide the features you request;
- save, render, export, and deliver your projects;
- maintain security and prevent misuse;
- troubleshoot technical problems; and
- comply with law and enforce these Terms.
This licence ends when the relevant User Content is deleted from active systems, except to the limited extent that temporary backup copies or legally required records remain under the Privacy Policy.
11.4 Your Promises About User Content
You represent and warrant that:
- you own User Content or have all necessary rights, licences, permissions, and consents to use and process it through Sybora;
- importing or downloading content from a third-party URL is lawful and permitted by the relevant rights holder and platform rules;
- User Content and your use of it do not violate copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, confidentiality, or other rights;
- you have obtained any consent required for identifiable individuals, voices, personal data, music, footage, or other protected material; and
- User Content complies with these Terms and applicable law.
11.5 No Platform Account Authorisation
Sybora may allow you to submit publicly accessible or otherwise lawfully available YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or other media links. Unless Sybora expressly introduces and describes a separate connection feature, the Services do not connect to, control, publish to, or act on behalf of your social-network account.
12. AI-Generated and Assisted Content
12.1 Nature of AI Output
Some Services use artificial intelligence or third-party models to generate or assist with images, text, voiceovers, scripts, and related content. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, unexpected, similar to outputs generated for others, or unsuitable for your purpose.
12.2 No Guarantee of Results
Sybora provides creative software tools. We do not guarantee views, engagement, virality, revenue, followers, platform approval, commercial success, accuracy, originality, or any other particular result.
12.3 Your Review Responsibility
You must review outputs before publishing, distributing, selling, or relying on them. You are responsible for checking factual claims, rights clearances, disclosures, platform requirements, and legal compliance.
12.4 Third-Party AI Providers
The Services may use third-party AI providers, including OpenAI. Provider availability and acceptable-use requirements may affect a feature. You must not use Sybora to circumvent a third-party provider’s safety restrictions or usage policies.
13. Acceptable Use
You may use the Services only lawfully and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use the Services to:
- infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights;
- upload or process content you are not authorised to use;
- create, distribute, or promote unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, threatening, harassing, or abusive material;
- exploit, sexualise, endanger, or facilitate harm to minors;
- create or distribute non-consensual intimate imagery or sexual content involving minors;
- impersonate a real person, clone a person’s voice, or create deceptive synthetic media without the rights, consent, and disclosures required by law;
- promote hatred, unlawful discrimination, terrorism, violence, self-harm, or criminal activity;
- conduct phishing, scams, malware distribution, credential theft, or other cybersecurity abuse;
- generate spam or unsolicited bulk communications;
- manipulate elections, public debate, financial markets, or consumers through unlawful deception;
- create multiple accounts or use automation to evade Free, plan, credit, rate, or storage limits;
- scrape, crawl, probe, attack, overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Services;
- bypass authentication, security, moderation, payment, or technical restrictions;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to obtain non-public source code, models, prompts, algorithms, or systems, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- resell access to the Services or provide the Services as a competing hosted product without written permission; or
- use outputs in a way that falsely represents them as human-created where law or platform rules require AI disclosure.
We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, limit features, preserve relevant evidence, or suspend or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary.
14. Content Moderation, Suspension, and Termination
14.1 Action by Sybora
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access if we reasonably believe that:
- you materially or repeatedly violated these Terms;
- your activity creates a security, legal, financial, or operational risk;
- payment is overdue or fraudulent;
- your use harms users, third parties, Sybora, or a provider;
- we are required to act by law, court order, regulator, or provider obligation; or
- continuing to provide the Services is no longer reasonably possible.
Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide reasons and an opportunity to appeal or correct the issue. We may act immediately where delay would create material harm or legal risk.
14.2 Effect of Termination
When access ends, your licence to use the Services ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including payment obligations, intellectual-property rules, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions—continue to apply.
Termination for breach does not automatically entitle you to a refund, except where required by law.
15. Intellectual Property of Sybora
The Services, software, interface, designs, branding, logos, documentation, templates, and other Sybora materials—excluding User Content—are owned by or licensed to Sybora and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Sybora grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to access and use the Services for personal or internal business purposes during the period in which you have valid access.
No right is granted to copy, sell, license, publicly distribute, or commercially exploit Sybora’s software, branding, or platform materials except as expressly allowed by these Terms or written permission.
16. Intellectual-Property Complaints
If you believe content processed or made available through Sybora infringes your copyright, trademark, or another right, send a notice to support@sybora.app with the subject “Intellectual Property Notice.” Include:
- your name and contact details;
- identification of the protected work or right;
- identification and location of the allegedly infringing material;
- an explanation of why you believe the use is unauthorised;
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate; and
- evidence that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for the rights holder.
We may request additional information, restrict access to material, notify the relevant user, or take other appropriate action. Knowingly submitting a false or misleading complaint may create legal liability.
17. Third-Party Services
The Services rely on or may link to third-party services, including Stripe, Supabase, Resend, Hetzner, OpenAI, and supported media platforms. Stripe currently provides payment receipts or invoices; no separate invoicing provider is integrated. Third parties may apply their own terms, privacy notices, and acceptable-use rules.
Video rendering is performed locally on Sybora’s Hetzner server using FFmpeg. Media-link processing uses the locally operated open-source yt-dlp tool. These tools are not separate hosted processors, although source media platforms remain subject to their own terms and policies.
Sybora is not responsible for a third-party service, website, content source, or outage that we do not control. This does not exclude responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
18. Communications
You agree to receive electronic communications necessary to provide the Services, including sign-in codes, security notices, billing receipts, subscription information, service updates, and changes to legal terms.
We will send marketing communications only where permitted by law. You may unsubscribe from marketing at any time, but you cannot opt out of essential account, billing, security, or legal communications while using the Services.
19. Privacy and Data Processing
Our processing of Personal Data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
If you are a business customer and require a Data Processing Agreement for Personal Data processed on your behalf through the Services, contact support@sybora.app. Availability of a DPA may depend on the plan and intended use.
20. Service Availability and Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and without limiting mandatory consumer guarantees:
- the Services are provided on an “as available” basis;
- temporary interruption may occur because of maintenance, failures, updates, provider outages, demand, or events outside our reasonable control;
- we do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available operation;
- AI output may contain errors and must be reviewed by you;
- previews may differ from final renders because of compression, fonts, codecs, devices, or platform processing; and
- you are responsible for keeping your own copies of important source files and exported outputs.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, guarantee, or remedy that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
21. Limitation of Liability
21.1 Non-Excludable Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, breach of mandatory consumer rights, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
21.2 Business Users
If you use the Services for business purposes, to the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Sybora is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss;
- Sybora is not liable for loss of profit, revenue, anticipated savings, goodwill, opportunity, or data, except where such limitation is prohibited; and
- Sybora’s total aggregate liability arising from the Services or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Sybora during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim or USD 100.
21.3 Consumers
If you are a consumer, Sybora is responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law. We are not responsible for business losses suffered by a consumer using the Services for purposes outside ordinary private use.
22. Indemnity for Business and Unlawful Use
To the extent permitted by law, if you use the Services for business purposes, you agree to indemnify Sybora against third-party claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your unlawful User Content, your infringement of third-party rights, or your material violation of these Terms.
This section does not apply to consumers to the extent that such an obligation would be unfair or prohibited by mandatory law.
23. Governing Law and Disputes
23.1 Contact Us First
If you have a complaint or dispute, contact support@sybora.app first. We will try to investigate and resolve the matter within a reasonable time.
23.2 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections provided by the law of the country in which they habitually reside.
23.3 Courts
Subject to mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules, disputes are submitted to the competent courts of Hungary. Consumers may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of their place of residence.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from using a regulator, consumer-protection body, payment dispute procedure, or another remedy available under mandatory law.
24. Export Controls and Sanctions
You may not use, export, re-export, or make the Services available in violation of applicable export-control, trade-sanctions, or embargo laws. You represent that your use is not prohibited by sanctions or trade restrictions applicable to you, Sybora, or a relevant service provider.
25. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Services, security, business practices, providers, or law. We will post the updated Terms with a revised “Last updated” date.
For material changes affecting an active paid subscription, we will provide reasonable advance notice where required. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you may stop using the Services and cancel before the changes take effect. Changes do not retroactively remove accrued rights or remedies.
26. General Provisions
26.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the plan and price displayed at checkout, and any additional terms expressly accepted by you form the agreement between you and Sybora regarding the Services.
26.2 Assignment
You may not transfer your account or rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or sale of the Services, subject to applicable law and notice requirements.
26.3 Severability
If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
26.4 No Waiver
A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision. A waiver is effective only if clearly made by the party granting it.
26.5 No Third-Party Beneficiaries
These Terms do not create rights for a third party, except where applicable law expressly provides otherwise.
26.6 Language
These Terms are written in English. If we provide a translation, the version designated at checkout or required by applicable law will control in the event of a conflict.
