Sybora – Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: February 12, 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) explains how cancellations, refunds, subscriptions, and extra-credit purchases work for Sybora. It forms part of the Sybora Terms of Service.
In this Policy, “Sybora,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to:
Trading name: Sybora
Country: Hungary
Email: support@sybora.app
Nothing in this Policy limits a mandatory consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
1. Free Version
1.1 No-Cost Access
Eligible users may create a Sybora account without providing payment-card details. The Free version includes access to:
- Video Ranking;
- Clip Compiler;
- Split Screen;
- Text Story; and
- Zoom Clip.
The Free version includes a maximum of three completed video downloads in total per eligible user.
1.2 No Automatic Paid Conversion
The Free version is not a time-limited paid trial and does not automatically convert into a paid subscription. You will not be charged unless you actively select a paid plan or extra-credit pack, proceed through Stripe checkout, and authorise the purchase.
1.3 Free-Version Eligibility
Free access is intended to allow a genuine user to evaluate the eligible tools. Creating multiple accounts or using false, disposable, stolen, or manipulated identity information to obtain more than three Free downloads is prohibited.
2. Subscription Billing
2.1 Recurring Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual recurring basis. Current base prices, subject to applicable taxes and clearly disclosed future changes, are:
- Basic: USD 19 per month or USD 170 per year;
- Pro: USD 39 per month or USD 299 per year; and
- Business: USD 89 per month or USD 599 per year.
Before payment, the Sybora application and Stripe checkout display:
- the plan and included features;
- the price and currency;
- the billing and renewal frequency;
- applicable taxes where required;
- the automatic-renewal terms; and
- the available cancellation method.
The purchase flow states that subscriptions renew automatically at the displayed price until cancelled and may be cancelled at any time without a long-term commitment.
2.2 Automatic Renewal
Unless cancelled before the next renewal date, a subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period. By purchasing a subscription, you authorise Sybora and Stripe to charge your selected payment method for the initial purchase and each renewal, including applicable taxes.
2.3 Extra-Credit Packs
Extra-credit packs are one-time, non-recurring purchases. Purchasing an extra-credit pack does not create a new subscription and does not renew automatically. Extra credits remain available if a subscription is cancelled or changed, as long as the Sybora account continues to exist.
2.4 Failed Payments
If a payment fails, Stripe or Sybora may retry the charge. Paid features may be restricted while an amount remains unpaid. You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method.
3. No Voluntary 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Sybora does not currently offer a general or voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee.
Except where this Policy expressly provides otherwise or applicable law requires a refund or another remedy, payments are non-refundable after the relevant digital access, credits, or Services have been supplied.
This section does not affect:
- statutory withdrawal or cooling-off rights;
- remedies for digital content or a digital service that is defective, unavailable, misdescribed, or not supplied as agreed;
- refunds for duplicate, incorrect, or unauthorised charges where verified; or
- any other right that cannot legally be excluded.
4. When a Refund or Billing Correction May Be Available
We will review refund and billing-correction requests in the following circumstances:
4.1 Duplicate or Incorrect Charge
You were charged more than once for the same purchase, charged after a cancellation that took effect before renewal, or charged an amount different from the amount you authorised.
4.2 Verified Service Failure
A verified technical failure for which Sybora is responsible prevented you from accessing or using a material paid feature for a significant part of the relevant billing period, and the issue could not be corrected within a reasonable time.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the remedy may be restoration of access, correction of the Service, manually restored credits, a proportionate price reduction, extension of access, or a full or partial refund. There is no fixed outage-duration threshold; requests are assessed based on severity, duration, affected features, and applicable law.
4.3 Defective or Non-Conforming Digital Service
Where mandatory consumer law applies, you may be entitled to have a defective or non-conforming digital service brought into conformity. If that is impossible or is not completed within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a proportionate price reduction or termination and refund as provided by law.
4.4 Statutory Withdrawal
You have properly exercised an applicable statutory withdrawal or cooling-off right within the required period and satisfied the relevant legal conditions.
4.5 Refund Review Approach
Verified duplicate or incorrect charges are corrected or refunded. Verified Sybora technical failures qualify for an appropriate remedy, which may include manually restored credits, correction, extension, price reduction, or refund depending on impact and applicable law. Other requests are assessed individually.
Approved refunds are initiated manually by the Sybora operator through the Stripe Dashboard.
4.6 Other Mandatory Rights
A refund, price reduction, or other remedy is required by the consumer law that applies to you.
5. Situations That Normally Do Not Qualify for a Refund
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, refunds are not normally provided because:
- you changed your mind after the applicable withdrawal period or after lawfully losing the withdrawal right;
- you did not use the Services during a billing period;
- you forgot to cancel before a renewal date;
- you deleted your account before the end of a paid billing period;
- you are dissatisfied with creative or AI-generated results where the tools functioned as described;
- a video did not receive expected views, engagement, revenue, followers, or platform approval;
- a third-party platform rejected, removed, restricted, or recompressed your exported content;
- you failed to download content before the applicable project-retention period ended;
- your account was restricted or terminated because of a material violation of the Terms of Service; or
- a failure was caused by your device, internet connection, unsupported file, unlawful input, third-party platform, or another circumstance outside Sybora’s reasonable control.
This section does not remove remedies for a defective or non-conforming Service or another non-excludable consumer right.
6. Statutory Withdrawal Rights
6.1 EEA Consumers
If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from an online subscription contract within 14 days without giving a reason, subject to applicable conditions and exceptions.
The withdrawal period generally begins when the contract is concluded. To exercise the right, send an unequivocal statement to support@sybora.app before the deadline. Include your account email, purchase date, and the plan or purchase concerned. You may use the model form in Appendix A, but it is not mandatory.
6.2 Immediate Performance
Before a paid subscription or extra-credit purchase, Sybora asks you to expressly request that digital performance begin immediately, before the withdrawal period ends.
For each confirmation, Sybora records the user identifier, acceptance timestamp, exact text version, purchase type or key, and related Stripe Checkout Session identifier.
Immediate access does not remove a right that cannot legally be waived. Depending on whether the purchase is legally classified as a continuing digital service, a service that has been fully performed, or qualifying digital content, different rules may apply:
- you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for Services supplied before withdrawal;
- the withdrawal right for a service may end after full performance where the legal consent and acknowledgement requirements are satisfied; or
- the withdrawal right for qualifying digital content may end when supply begins where the legal consent, acknowledgement, and confirmation requirements are satisfied.
6.3 Other Countries
Consumers in the United Kingdom or other countries may have similar withdrawal, cancellation, refund, or digital-service rights. We will apply the mandatory rules of the jurisdiction that governs your purchase.
7. Credits, Video Allowances, Add-Ons, and Plan Changes
7.1 Monthly Credits and Video Allowances
Unused credits and video allowances included in a recurring monthly plan expire when the next billing period begins. They do not roll over or accumulate.
7.2 Extra-Credit Packs
Separately purchased extra-credit packs:
- are one-time, non-recurring purchases;
- do not expire while your account remains active;
- are non-transferable;
- have no cash value; and
- are non-refundable after supply, except where a statutory withdrawal right or another mandatory remedy applies.
If you permanently delete your account, any remaining credits are deleted with the account and cannot be restored or exchanged for money, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
7.3 Credit Deduction and Failed Attempts
Credits or video allowances are deducted when a generation, render, or download attempt starts. They are not automatically restored if the attempt fails, including because of a technical error.
If you believe a failure was caused by Sybora, contact support@sybora.app with the approximate time, feature used, project details, and any relevant screenshot. An administrator can manually restore credits after review. We may also correct the Service, extend access, reduce the price, or issue another remedy where appropriate or legally required.
7.4 Upgrades and Downgrades
Upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately. For an upgrade, Stripe calculates and immediately charges the prorated price difference. For a downgrade, the prorated difference is added as a credit to the next invoice rather than returned immediately to the payment card. Extra-credit balances remain unchanged.
8. How to Cancel a Subscription
You may cancel at any time to prevent future renewal charges.
8.1 Cancellation Through Your Account
Sign in to Sybora, open the Subscription page, and use the available subscription-management or cancellation control.
8.2 Cancellation Channel
The standard cancellation channel is the “Cancel” button on the Subscription page. Support email may be used for billing questions, refund requests, statutory withdrawal notices, or technical assistance, but subscription cancellation itself is completed through the website.
8.3 Effect of Cancellation
Unless the interface, checkout terms, or mandatory law states otherwise:
- cancellation prevents future renewal charges;
- cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period;
- you retain paid access until that time;
- no automatic partial refund is issued for the remaining period; and
- after expiry, your account returns to the Free or inactive level applicable at that time.
Download any content you wish to keep before your paid access or project-retention period ends.
9. Account Deletion Is Different From Cancellation
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but normally keeps your account and paid access available until the end of the current billing period.
Using the “Delete account” button at the bottom of the Subscription page is different. Account deletion:
- is immediate and irreversible in Sybora’s active systems;
- cancels an active subscription;
- ends access immediately;
- deletes the user account, projects, files, and application records from active systems; and
- deletes remaining credits and allowances.
Deleting an account does not automatically create a right to a partial refund. Certain billing, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, security, or temporary provider-backup records may remain as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. How to Request a Refund or Billing Correction
Email support@sybora.app with the subject “Refund Request” or “Billing Issue.” Include:
- the email address connected to your Sybora account;
- the date and amount of the charge;
- the plan, credit pack, or purchase concerned;
- a clear description of the issue; and
- any relevant receipt, screenshot, error message, or supporting information.
Submit the request promptly after discovering the issue. Any suggested reporting period in this Policy does not shorten a mandatory limitation or consumer-claim period.
We may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify the account, transaction, technical issue, or legal basis for the request. We aim to provide an initial response to refund and billing requests within two business days, although complex investigations or provider delays may require additional time.
11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
We encourage you to contact support@sybora.app before initiating a chargeback so that we can investigate and attempt to resolve the issue. Contacting us first is not a condition for exercising a legal right to dispute a charge with your bank or payment provider.
If you submit a payment dispute, we may provide Stripe, the card network, your payment provider, or another authorised dispute handler with information reasonably necessary to respond, including:
- transaction and invoice records;
- subscription and cancellation information;
- relevant account and usage activity;
- proof of digital delivery or access;
- relevant support correspondence; and
- the Terms of Service and this Policy in effect at the time of purchase.
We will process this information as described in the Privacy Policy and applicable law. Fraudulent or abusive payment disputes may result in account restriction, but a good-faith exercise of a consumer or payment right will not be penalised.
12. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method through Stripe. Once issued, a card refund commonly appears within approximately 5–10 business days, but the actual timing depends on the bank, payment method, currency, and Stripe processing status.
If the original payment method cannot receive the refund, we will follow the process available through Stripe and applicable law. Currency-conversion differences or bank fees outside Sybora’s control may affect the amount shown in your account. Taxes included in a refunded charge will be handled as required by law and the payment record.
13. Complaints and External Resolution
If you disagree with a refund or billing decision:
- reply to the support correspondence and request a further review;
- provide any additional information supporting your position; and
- if the matter remains unresolved, contact the consumer-protection authority, alternative dispute-resolution body, payment provider, or court available in your jurisdiction.
The former European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform has been discontinued and is therefore not linked from this Policy.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Services, billing practices, consumer law, or payment systems. The updated version will be posted with a revised “Last updated” date.
Material changes will not retroactively remove a refund, cancellation, or consumer right that had already arisen. Where required, we will provide additional notice before a material change takes effect.
